Vox Threnody - Devastation of Bodies Through Time (FLAC)
This track explores the core concept of the album. The working class poor built everything and it's being locked behind an imaginary dollar sign that we cannot cross. We need to end this system.
Individual tracks available as, "Pay What You Want" on Bandcamp, Want it for free? That's fine. I get it. Want to support us and pay a gazillion? Great.
Everything and in between is greatly appreciated and every bit helps! Donations accepted in the footer.

lyrics
Verse 1:
We live our lives - relentlessly producing.
We build upon the works from generations past.
We gaze upon the beauty we’ve created.
All whilst the fruits are hoarded by the ruling class.
Chorus:
Every moment of our lives will be monetized. Every joy will bring ambrosia to the lords.
All that we’ve built has been co-opted by the 1%. We are exploited even when we sleep.
It is our lot to lift the rock for Sisyphus. Naught more a shield of bone for the kings.
Through our pain, entire bloodlines become pantheon. The undeserving stand on ashes of the dead.
Verse 2:
In filth, we’re born - we claw and scratch at “bootstraps,”
and still we toil - to build a better life.
As sterile hands from castles made of grief and bone
reach down to gather up the wonders we have made.
Anarcho-Talkybit:
52 to 69% of all Americans live paycheck to paycheck.
13.5% of Americans experience serious food insecurity in their lifetime.
60,000 Americans die every year from preventable conditions as a direct result of a broken health care system. Globally, 13,000 children under five die from preventable conditions die every day.
How can we call this the wealthiest Nation on earth when all of that wealth is hoarded by the top 1%, faceless corporations, and bloated defense budgets while the rest of America burns.
We built heaven on Earth and gave the keys to those who will never let us enter. It's time we take their laurel wreaths and choke back what is already ours
